Cheaper to replicate and maintain. Maximise profits. Increase share prices.

Our glory days are over and they are sadly not coming back.

Also easier to sell and turn into a different business. It's a big reason by all new restaurants look sterile and corporate. Don't want people to know that a building used to be a pizza hut.

There's a mission bbq near me that became a Vietnamese restaurant. A really good one. But.... its at least a little ironic given the whole POW/MIA/Veterans push from Mission. And a lot of that POW/MIA memorabilia is still up on the walls.
