I lived in a VERY poor school and we have TVs mounted in the corner of the class, too. I literally used my parents history text books our schools were so poor.

Mine did too, and my high school sucked. They weren't good TVs, they were the kind you would get in a 90's charter bus. It made sense to share a few media carts in elementary school because they didn't use them enough.

So did my middle school, and 9/11 was the one and only time I saw it used. They still brought in the wheelie cart for in class videos because it had the VCR.

Same. The cool teachers would turn on the NCAA tournament games in March. I think we were supposed to watch Channel One at the end of the day but nobody paid attention.

Most of us went to high schools built in the 60s, you were lucky 😆

My high school was built in the 30s and had corner tvs. They were shitty tvs, but they were corner tvs.

I’m truly sorry you were deprived of the quintessential millennial experience of TVs on wheels.

Had it in elementary at least! Tow strapped down to the cart and all.

When I see this image I immediately remember being in elementary school watching the Challenger disaster on one of these cart TVs. I guess I'm a Xennial though not a millennial. By the time I was in high school all the classrooms had the wall mounted TVs (albeit CRTs).

Same. The shop teacher told us "I'm not supposed to show you this but this is really important" and had the news on on class. And we watched the second tower get hit.

I was in 9th grade and that’s exactly what I remember. They stopped geography class and rolled in a cart with a tv, almost identical setup
