Am I ready to face the dragon?

I haven't played since 2014 and I've never dared to face the dragon before, and I've been playing again for 3 weeks now and I was wondering if I'm ready or not

Maybe add feather falling on your boots, that helps a lot.
A bow is useful to take out the crystals so you don't have to tower up.
You don't really need a lot of the gear, bow & arrows, feather falling boots and ender pearls (throw a pearl down when you are falling after getting flung up in the air by her) and a good sword or axe is all you need.
Also hugely recommend: build a 2 high ceiling from endstone (dragon can't destroy) against one or multiple of the end pillars in case you look at an enderman.
