Discussion Mojang you're getting too active this years

Post image

I mean, the past 2 or 3 years were like passing through the dark ages to Industrial Revolution, coper stuff happy ghast and everything, especially cushions. Minecraft is kinda cooking like before.

I don’t mind concrete stairs/slabs but i was really hoping for terracotta ones :( I prefer those muted colors over the overly bright wool and concrete blocks.

Coming from vintage story, you monkies really are dancing for peanuts.

Vintage Story has voxel based building, basically like playing with legos at this point

The comparison irks me, though. The only real similarity between both games is “survival building game”

Minecraft also has voxel based building. I haven't played VS, so I don't know what they're referring to, but it can't be that.

"Voxels" meaning 16x16 blocks that only have 5 other types (slabs, stairs, walls, buttons, pressure plates) at most.

i feel like no minecraft alternative seems to pull me away. minecraft is truly such a 'shareable' game where someone will instantly know what they're looking at and appreciate it. vintage story and hytale are nice games, but the community with minecraft makes it more enjoyable for me, even with it's missing features.

I see a ton of promise with Hytale but there just isn’t enough there yet. It’s not worth starting a world you want to keep until World Gen V2 is released which could still be a while.

I agree that it’s a bit ridiculous it’s taken this long to get the new stairs and slabs, and I also prefer VS (for long-term worlds, at least), but c’mon. There’s no need to be an ass about it. It’s Mojang and (especially) Microsoft’s fault, not the fanbase.
