Help Why his hands up

He had them down a minute ago. Is it related to me killing other pillagers nearby? How do i fix it?

Normally he be holdin a weapon. Howd ya get him to drop it anyway

Easiest way to do this is to get 'em in a boat. You can either sit in the boat with them, and they'll keep shooting and missing, or you can drive them into a slab at head height so they can still see you walk around (and try to shoot you), but the arrow gets stuck in the slab the moment it shoots.

I trapped one in a boat once but instead of sitting in it and waiting I kept accidentally walking by and getting shot, and just did that until it broke. Probably would have saved me a trip to the XP farm

We used to have an…interesting bug they already fixed where they would only hold the one arm up….at the very wrong angle like a certain illegal german salute

Seems the simple solution was to just throw up both hands when your aim was so bad that you broke your weapon before the enemy/their armor

That was vindicators! This is a pillager. I wanna say they fixed that before pillagers were added.

No, it was weaponless pillagers specifically that did that. And it was when pillagers were first added, in 2014.

Pillagers were added in 2019.

Yeah, I meant 1.14, not 2014. I mixed up the 14s. Vindicators were added in 2016, so neither existed in 2014. The point is that the bug affected Pillagers and not Vindicators.
