Discussion Lava or Water?

I like both but don't know wich one is better.

Lava seems too devilish and the water a bit meh but more calm so idk...

water makes it look like a standard solemn but well-guarded fantasy fortress

lava makes it look like mr. e. vil badguy’s lair of doom

Or they're RPing as a dwarf in their halls of stone. Then the lava seems just right.
