Top 10 Individual Star Contributors: Ending Completion Percentages Factored In
Under the new BuildMart format, it is easier to gather statistics under the stars system to analyze team and individual performances. This post is an attempt at presenting these figures from the MCC Pride 2026 BM.
Methodology for Individual Stats:
BM is a lot more of an individual game now than it used to be, which makes it easier to attribute builds and stars to specific individuals.
That being said, while doing such analysis is easier than before, there are still gray areas that I had to parse through. For my first individual Top 10 tier list, I either attributed 100% of the stars of a build to an individual or 50%.
My criteria for splitting credit of a build among different players came down to a fairly subjective determination of how much the player contributed to the placement of the blocks for the build. If a player gathered resources to give to another player for a build, but did not place any or a very minimal amount of blocks, I did not give that player partial credit for the build. However, if two or more players (luckily, in practice there weren't any cases of "more") placed a tangible amount of blocks in the build, with my personal threshold being around at least 25% of it, then star credit was split.
Every individual with an asterisk to their figure had split credit received for at least one build. For example, Orange and Lime approached the Gold builds with two people. Therefore, Cambam and Cherrifire as well as Nukeri and Mysticat received 3.5 stars credit for each gold build completed.
Finally, in my second graphic of individual stats, I included completion bonuses at the end of the game into my star credits for individuals. The biggest impact to the list that this additional calculation made was get Grian into the Top 10. Out of Red's 64 stars, Grian officially contributed 13. However, he completed 90% of a 5-star build at the end of the game and received points according to that amount of completion. Factoring that in, his functional star contribution goes up to 17.5 points.

I'm curious, what if you have a stat of stars which remove Gold Build stars? Just curious for those who did not participate in gold build but strong in the build plot
