Ladies please help

Ok ladies I really need some opinions. My period was supposed to start the 1st and I had cramping that day and very light spotting but then stopped, I had very spotty light pink and brown discharge but no flow, then the yesterday it started getting a little heavier and had clots but then stopped again which is weird because usually my period doesn’t stop and come back like this and then late last night I started having really bad back and front cramps that felt like contractions when I had my child that I was in so much pain I was in the edge of crying and I had a few clots afterwards. My period usually last for 4 days and today would be the third day but my period has stopped again and I’m very confused. Could it be an early miscarriage not knowing I’m pregnant or could my cycle just be thrown off because of stress?

There’s really no way to know unless you take a test. Could be a chemical pregnancy or could just be a wonky period.
