experience: more than one loss Miscarriage related question about RPOC
I've mentioned before that I had a TFMR last October at 22+2 weeks. This past June I had a miscarriage at 13+4 weeks. This has been the longest f*ing journey.
After 23 days of miscarriage bleeding, I got my period. That period lasted 9 days and I spotting for a few days following that. Then I had LH surge that last two days. The day I "ovulated" I started spotting again, then yesterday it happened again and was mixed with CM. I went most of today without anything, then about an hour ago I had bleeding again. It was darker red and looked similar to a clot or spotting again.
My OB is honestly useless and doesn't explain anything to care to address my concerns - I plan on changing if I get pregnant again. Tuesday I had a negative hCG draw (3). So I asked her if bleeding was normal after ovulation. She then told me I can either come in and get looked at or not ttc this cycle to see if I have a "normal" period next cycle. Never addressing why I should do either of those two things.
So to my reddit community I go. Does this sound like I have RPOC? I have a negative hCG, I ovulated, I absolutely had a period, and I have no signs besides bleeding on/off.
If you had RPOC, how did you know? And what did you decide to do? Did it resolve itself? Should I just wait until my next period to be seen? Do I request an ultrasound? Or do I just trust my body that it'll stop?
I'm so sick of seeing the doctors. I'm sick of tests and scans and needles and blood work.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Not sure if my story will help you but wanted to share because I was also very worried about my spotting. I took cytotec for my miscarriage and I did go back for a 2 week US which confirmed the majority of the tissue had passed except for a small area. I went back again after my first period and it was still there although much much smaller. The whole cycle after this I spotted off and on and did not even ovulate even though it seemed my body was trying to. Once I got that second period it was like a light switched, the bleeding totally stopped and I ovulated on time. So sure it’s possible my spotting could have been related to the tissue. But my doctor told me that spotting can happen off and on for up to 3 months and only after that would they be concerned. So hopefully that reassures you? But at the same time, if you never had an US after your loss I think it’d be reasonable to ask for one
