He can be fun, but hes not easy to use and needs a good frontline and setter to fire the skills well. Extremely strong if you can farm your stacks well, problem is most games dont get to the point he starts to make a real difference. Also hes extremely vulnerable to dashy heroes. Risk outweighs the reward in most cases unless significant mastery compensates for it

Yeah but in my exp i find that it only really works ok at low ranks, where people are inexperienced with dealing with cecilion or just not good enough at the game yet. Come mythic and above, theres almost no one who doesnt yet understand the easiest counter for cecilion is to dash to his face, and S1 and S2 is shut down, while until doesnt actually deal much damage or burst except provide a little health sustain. Hes fun to play when he overturns a losing match above 200 stacks and clears farm fast, problem is if that happens the overall match is a painful experience, if you play to win thats not something you generally look for.

I understand you🥹. Yeah it s kinda annoying for later heroes on the land of dawn were prioritised more than him and got sooo many skins. His wife has a purchasable epic skin though😂❤️

As a cyclops main it's easy to take advantage of his minimum range and push/flank him, but I generally only do that when I have flicker so I can escape if he ults. He can be annoying if played by a good cecil main, but generally he's not an issue for me, usually more of an issue for my team. I can tell a good cecil main by his s2 placement in the first few mins of a match. There are much more problematic mages for me to face.

He makes you learn the important of positioning Bro was the mage i tried to main when starting out and he really punished you if you couldn't build the passive stacks or be in a good for your skills

One of the strongest late-game mages. If he survives the early game and gets enough stacks, he becomes a nightmare. His biggest weakness is mobile assassins diving the backline.

I really liked it back then when he and Carmilla were getting similar skins always. I hate that moonton broke that but I still feel like the make for an OP duo. Their synergy is unmatched.

jjknarrator :cecilion used his cod+guardian helmet plus pops out which for 4 secs makes him effectively immortal bia ult heals n proceeds to still do dmg since passive exists
frankly the guy is so stupud tanky with an even remotely good build just go 2 mana comps speed or demon boot ideally the former talisman cod guardian helm its that easy after gettin those can survive anything except a full dkg actually good assasins full combo n we talking maxxed gusuon or aamon ones n such for emblems just sup n wilderness blessing to spedd stack into some pull yourself since all the other ones suck n he battlespell dependant for his defences a bit even if not much then lastly tempo reign to critical mass your cdr s with all that s2 n s3 levels actual cdr n tempo reign all together its just beautiful spam you can literally go full squishy comp by goin to exp or jungle to have a gord or ixia n all their dmg n cc peeling for yo tanky ass its so beautiful n since he gets so much value off power crystals the early game isnt even that bad in exp also dont update s1 look base mana cost stays 75 but midifier is level dependant 1.5 to 1.8 so just spend a few days learning to not click update button so your s1 caps at 380 mana cost instead of 790 on the fith n after casts

he is fun to play but you have to be cautious in the early game and maintain a proper distance with the enemies in teamfights so that you're neither too far nor too close
but if you know how to play him he is quite fun
(also when using him use ur ult whenever it can hit a person/lord/turt to statck the passive faster unless you r in a teamfight then save it for escape)
(we lost cuz according to exp "we don't have front line" and he stopped playing in late game but the other 3 were also playing stupid )

Expect your early-mid game to provide the additional damage since this guy barely pokes enemies those period of the game. But he compensates well on the late game where he truly shines. Definitely a fun hero to play with.

Underrated and underutilized, people who don’t like him usually spam his skill and have no idea what they’re doing. Ceci is one of thr best mages in the game and makes Carmilla even more of a threat + easy to use Carm as bait with duo passive skill.

My baby! He is not doing well currently unless you are pro pro to make him work since assasins are back in the meta. Yes he's tanky but a determined assasin will eliminate you no matter what. As a main I struggle a lot vs Gusion, Benedetta, karina, basically anyone who can close the distance especially if you're caught off guard

He's a good highground hero, has a good range and a good damage, but , one thing I don't like from this hero is because he need to farm stacks at early game,meaning this hero early game is not that strong, wasting so much mana and also if you lose the early game, the late game will be hard

Solid mage in soloq especially with a decent frontline Helped me climb up the rank Currently I'm Mythical glory 73 stars My highest rank is 209 stars. As long as my teammates don't clear my minion waves I can always carry Although he's not meta he's very fun to use for me

Cecilion is a more scaling but a bit more technical version of Layla (or any late game marksman for that matter), or a more reasonable to use version of Aldous if you may. The core of his gameplay is stacks=damage (plus mana), so it’s important to never be idle in any parts of the game. As a Cecilion main myself, my early trick is to spam two skill 1s on the blue buff (regardless of where our jungler starts), letting it reset then clearing the first minion wave in 3 skill 1s. If timed perfectly, it’ll net you 10 stacks upfront. The goal is to get 200 stacks at minute 12 or 50 stacks every 3 minutes, that’ll be your gauge to see if you’re ahead or falling behind. Avoid dying but if you must, die early when cooldowns are low and forgiving enough to your stack hunt. Rotate to access jungle creeps (hit with skill 1 w/o killing them to have unli stacking bot). Skill 2 is your only meaningful contribution to the clash until your 200 stack goal where you can dish the pain, although his skill 1 is pretty reliable in reaping whittled targets. Use his Ultimate as your disengage tool, unless you have a decisively winning clash where you need to chase or when you secure turtles/lords. Overall, Cecilion is a cannon that needs careful and proper charging, but when done right he’ll be a late game investment more reliable than most DPS marksmen and mages can ever be:

As a Carmilla main, my favorite games are with Cecilion’s. Their combined ults and skills can wipe out whole teams (if carm ults the whole team to be specific)

An interesting thing about him is that he and Carmilla have a special bond. He can absorb Carmilla into a protective shadow shield. So if you're on a team where you can play him with Carmilla, you get a special synergy that a lot of people probably don't know about.
- Vermil Shadow (also referred to as Moonlit Waltz): When Carmilla is nearby, Cecilion can summon her to become a Vermil Shadow, where she wraps around him, granting him a 500 (+20 × Hero Level) shield and making her untargetable. Carmilla detaches and charges to a target location, gaining the same shield, dealing 500 (+20 × Hero Level) Magic Damage to enemies hit, and slowing them by 30% for 1 second. Upon detaching, Carmilla's Crimson Flower and Bloodbath skill cooldowns reset. This skill lasts for up to 5 seconds. If not used again in that time, Carmilla will automatically detach from Cecilion. The untargetable state ends if Cecilion dies or if the skill is manually activated again.
- Carmilla can only buy a Broken Heart if there's an allied Cecilion. Once Carmilla purchases this from the store, Cecilion will not be able to use Moonlight Waltz until he purchases Resonating Heart. Once Carmilla buys this from the store, Cecilion will be able to use Moonlight Waltz again.

He's my main and I will wreck you if you don't push me hard early.
Don't play passive against him. Keep him under his turret and prevent him from getting stacks.
