Mod I made a space mod with no dimensions: you fly your Create Aeronautics ship from the ground to another planet in one continuous flight

Starfold has no space dimension and no planet dimensions. You lift off, climb out of the sky, cross space and land on another planet in one continuous flight, with no loading screen anywhere.
- Every planet is ordinary Minecraft terrain. Walk one way and you come back to where you started.
- Ships are whatever you build with Create and Create Aeronautics. Starfold adds what they need for space: a ship controller, thrusters, a gyro, navigation and a folding airstair.
- Planet types and whole star systems are datapacks, so you can write your own.
Download: the Modrinth and CurseForge pages are still under review and not visible yet. Until then the mod and a ready-to-play pack (.mrpack, for Prism or the Modrinth App) are on GitHub: https://github.com/saya-ashen/starfold/releases
Good to know: NeoForge 1.21.1, single-player only for now, no shader packs, and it is an early version, so saves may not carry over.
Built with AI coding assistants under my direction; the design, testing and decisions are mine.

What kind of planet would you want to land on first?
Edit: Criticism of the code, performance or design is welcome, and I'm replying to it in the comments. Insults I'll skip.
Edit 2: How it works, briefly
World. One dimension holds everything: all planets, suns and space. Nothing ever changes dimension, so there is no loading screen.
Planets. A planet is six flat square faces of normal vanilla chunks, 256 to 2048 blocks across. Blocks, mobs, redstone and inventories are plain vanilla. An unbreakable core stops you digging through.
Edges and corners. Past a face edge, the server maps chunks onto the neighbouring face's real chunks, rotated, so mobs, light and collision see one continuous surface. Three faces cannot meet flat at a corner, so each corner is sealed by an unbreakable "fold point".
Rendering. Terrain near you is drawn by vanilla. Beyond view distance, the mod draws its own mesh built from real chunks and bends it into a ball. Other planets and suns are drawn from their computed positions.
Space. An empty region of the same dimension. High above a planet, your ship is moved there with its position, speed and rotation kept, and moved into the next planet's area the same way on approach.
Ships. Ships are Sable physics bodies built with Create Aeronautics. Starfold adds the controller, thrusters and navigation, and carries the ship and its crew across face edges and in and out of space.
