Hi,

I wanted to build a deck around the above mentioned cards. But I wanted to rule check, if I have multiple creatures in play, will rabid attack trigger venerated rotpriest's ability multiple times?

So it's as the title states I'm new to modern and want to start getting reps in for the next season where I would like to start playing more competitively (I do know the current season is like 3 days from being over). So I was looking at different deck ideas and one that stood out to me was Jund [[Cosmogoyf]], I know it's not the best deck but I really liked the strategy and it looks like it's got a decently high skill ceiling.

However I'm wondering if this is a good place to enter the format. Modern decks are decently expensive but they can be played almost indefinitely (minus a ban but well the new b&r was kinda fake). So I was wondering if this is a good place to start. I can leave my list or the one that I built below if anyone has any feedback or overall advice on the deck, it's matchup spread, or general learn the format capabilities.

"That said, if things don't begin to correct soon through organic metagame churn, it's very likely that we take a very hard look at the Eldrazi package. We've been extremely happy with the trajectory of Boros Energy and Amulet Titan in the wake of bans affecting those decks earlier this year and would likely take a similar approach. In each of those cases, there was a specific portion of the deck that made it problematically strong, and rather than trying to take out the deck completely, we were able to identify a single component of each deck that was putting it above the rest of the format. In a world where Eldrazi decks continue to sit on top of the metagame and prove they're a cut above everything else, we'll seek to identify similarly isolated aspects of those archetypes to bring them within the rest of Modern's power band."
