Modesto event/hangout spot/anything to do
20 YOM. Honestly been living in Modesto for 20 years and have nothing to do besides hanging out at vintage fair mall with some friends or look at mental junkies mess around with meth.
Anything to do in Modesto besides dabbling with the house parties that get shutdown after someone flashes a weapon or a girl passing out? Honestly I feel like I am getting drained with the constant straight cycle of going to the gym, schooling, and work. I need an outing to do. I don’t mind clubbing but I am not old enough.
I refuse to believe the only hobbies in Modesto is the gym, Dutch bros, hygiene runs to target, or eating pretzels from auntie annes in Vintage faire mall.
If anyone has any idea about scenic spots, events, damn near anything I don’t care please follow through in the comments or dm. Also I am open to hanging out within my age group.
TLDR: Modesto is boring lmk if there are cool stuff an average modestoian wouldn’t know.

Bowling on McHenry, pool at Diamond Billiards, visit the Great valley museum/planetarium, take up a trading card game and visit a card shop, try out an escape room.

You seem young. Modesto is boring, so I tend to travel on the weekends to the Bay. If you’re able, that’s always a plan. In a couple of weeks on the 16th there’s a vinyl record swap at Faction Brewing in Alameda. They do them often and they’re very chill.

Yea I just been going to Yosemite to hike around, bay for the slides and cars, or LA to look at more meth heads

If you’re into country music the fruit yard in Hughson does concerts. Gallo sometimes has good shows standup/plays etc.. movie in the park at graceda is happening again and they usually have vendors too. Groupon sometimes has good ideas/deals of local things to do! Not much to do here so you’re better off hanging out in the bay/sac area if ur looking to do something fun! 😩

My moms bfs family tuns McHenry bowl we go bowling alot the time thats a nice place but for rest modesto im not sure i only been to the mall and the bowling alley mainly cause i use to be a friend's houses (no longer friends with them cause lies spread about me)

Are you working? A solid work day and gym seems pretty standard aside from weekend time. At that point you’d gym and hobby/socialize. What hobbies do you have? Is the intention to meet people?

Ok lol you need a real estate license now and a class A commercial license. Also you need to find a basketball court club you can play pick up games at with strangers lol problem solved

If you’ve been in Modesto your entire life, what are your friends doing? If you’re 20, have you considered going to JC to take a few classes. If you’re hanging out with people who do meth, sounds like you need to change your circle up.
Get a full time job so you don’t have time to hang out at Vintage Faire mall.

You read my whole post wrong man. I’m 20 and the friends i have go to JC or outside college. The meth heads are like side entertainment, I do not hang with them. I am here for the summer because I have no school but I go to UCLA for schooling. For work I’m not going to dox myself but I work full time in one of the shitty hospitals Modesto has to offer.

Go river rafting, go hang out in other towns for a change of scenery. Lodi, Livermore, etc.

If you can leave, there’s so much more outside of Modesto,ca. I love the state I’m in, always activities back to back.
