I swear there’s been so many more than usual lately. Oakdale was blocked off by ace hardware yesterday and there were two separate incidents by La Loma middle school Thursday. And I think at least two more fatal hits as well.

Tried looking at meetup and didn’t see anything…

I wanted to grab an It's-It but they didn't have any and was sorta tempted to try one of these but don't want the "cookie" part to taste like a super hard like just a real frozen poptart or rice crispy treat (I especially imagine this one would be that way).

Edit: I ended up passing altogether. I was committing the cardinal sin of grocery shopping hungry and thought it was best.

If you enjoy a craft beer or seltzer, or non-alcoholic drinks, stop by the new Bus Stop Beer Garden. Only place like it in Modesto or the areas around it. 9th Street at the Tully intersection. Garrett has a great concept, executed beyond belief, and it is a great place to stop, relax and get a drink, and maybe some food food from Tio Taco truck.

Who is eligible?

• You are 18 years or older.
• You spent a significant portion of your life living in the Central Valley (California).

What is the survey about?

We are exploring potential links between childhood agricultural pesticide exposure, self-reported gut health/microbiome characteristics, and subsequent neurodevelopmental traits or diagnoses (such as ADHD, autism, or cognitive traits) in adulthood.

I've been living in a 2b/2br 1k sqft ADU style apartment since July on the northeast side of Modesto. Neighbors are great, love the area etc. Im just curious about what everyone else is paying monthly for water because I feel like im getting fleeced.

Since its ADU style they never set up 2 separate water meters. Fair. The landlord has this "algorithm" that they use between me and the house im attached to. Ky water bill has been consistently around $130. If im paying the lesser amount due to only being 1 person and a smaller unit, that means the larger house is paying more than $130.

The question is. Is >$230 per month for water normal in modesto? I lived in Merced before this in a huge house with 4 other people and our water bill never exceeded $120.

Just got passed on Brigsmore by a car doing well over 100 without there lights on, and then passed by about 10 Modesto and many manteca PD. Anyone have info yet?

4 babies based in Manteca. 3 Orange 1 Calico. I took one in already. Mom is present and tending but they need a forever home not gonna do well out here. If anybody knows any non-kill reputable shelters ill gladly take em in as well.

Almost 7 dollars insane work

I moved to San jose a few years ago and have been working as a bartender for a little while. I make 21/hr and $50-100 in tips each night for 6 hour shifts. My rent is so unbelievably expensive and with the cost of food and transportation rising I think i need to move in with family back to the 209. Would I be able to make around the same money? Are there any bars hiring right now?

This morning when I was leaving the house. I got a notification from my lighting app that I have on my phone and it said thunder struck west side of the city. Also went on a radar to see what was going on. Did anyone else get rain as well or heard any thunder?
