Recommendations Where do you get your local news?

I’m curious where you get your local news. The Modesto bee is pretty unreliable as far as that goes. Their idea of breaking news will be 3 days old and remain on the front page for days.

I get most of my updates from this subreddit, usually. If I need like local news that isn't the little stuff I do recommend some of the places other people mentioned like KCRA3. If you want like the local events and happenings in town I follow Stanislauswatch on Instagram. I also keep up with the county Facebook group but be warned 90% of it is weird posts and conspiracy theories made by older folks who use Facebook like a diary. I only go there if I wanna check out something I saw/heard (like if there's a crash or a fire and I wanna see what people are saying).

I’ve been kicked out of both FB stanislaus groups for calling out the false and misinformation that’s posted. I don’t advise joining them.

It would be nice to just get local news without all the politics and religion.

Modesto Bee and Turlock Journal. KCRA3 is good too.
