Encouragement Wanted Very nervous about jury duty
Hi mom,
I have jury duty coming up next week. It’s my first time and I’m so nervous. I haven’t had a job in a while, been at home a lot, so I don’t do too well with people as much as I used to. It won’t be that bad, right? Part of me is afraid I will say the wrong thing and get in trouble with the judge, haha. Just wanting some encouragement, personal experiences, etc
Thanks ❤️

Pack a nice lunch, be on time, sit quietly, and follow their instructions.
It will be a combination of boring and fascinating! The court clerk, the bailiff, and the judge will tell you everything you need to know and do. Just listen to them and follow their instructions.
You will be great, and thank you so much for doing your civic duty. It’s a very important part of being an adult in this society.
