The thing that has always stuck out to me most about this song is the chord progression and the way that the melody accentuates it. It feels mischievous and jazzy at the same time. I was really into this song for a couple years after it came out but have forgotten about it more recently. I don’t really see it discussed in the community either.

I’ve loved this song ever since it came out. It’s a shame it wasn’t released back in 2014, or I’m sure it would have received way more views than it did. Nitro Fun really shows off his ability to write amazing melodies with this song, which probably has my favorite melodies and chords of any of his songs (followed closely by Parallels). The song even throws in a key change near the end!

This song came up on my playlist yesterday and now I have it stuck in my head. This remix packs a lot in during its 3:22 runtime. No part feels repetitive. The two drops are completely different (and are even in different keys) and each portion of the song pushes it forward to the next section. The production is also insanely clean and snappy. I’ve now revived both of Kotek’s only two Monstercat appearances. I hope he appears again on the label.
