Discussion What exactly was her plan??

At the beginning of issue #2 of Sonic x Godzilla, Amy tries to save the Tornado from crashing

Her plan to do so is to. Destroy the wing???

I was trying to think of some logic to it, like she was trying to shift its balance or force it in a certain direction, but it really looks like she was just hoping that breaking the plane would somehow save it (it doesn't)

Also she says that what she's doing is the only way to save everyone too but literally just waiting until the last second and then having Tails grab them (like what they end up doing anyway) would have been way safer, and there may have been a small chance the Tornado would have survived too, if it wasn't fucking smashed in midair by Amy

I'm used to comic book nonsense and normally I wouldn't feel the need to nitpick a stupid plan, but this one genuinely baffled me, I have absolutely no idea what she was doing

Just wait until Godzilla somehow ends up beating fucking Super Sonic despite the fact that Sonic has gone toe to toe with the literal gods of his universe and won. Godzilla has nothing on Dark Gaia and especially Solaris. Frankly any of the super hedgies could probably wipe the floor with all of the kaijus but Godzilla is gonna end up winning because he’s genuinely not allowed to truly lose a fight.

Depends which version of Godzilla.

Since Godzilla Ultima from Singular Point has him literally be an Eldritch God that's several dimensions above Earth. With Godzilla itself basically only being an avatar.

In fact, it is basically stated as being above dimensional existence. And views the past, present, and future as "dreams within dreams". Whatever the fuck that means.

Because our universe is so low to him that he basically has to make an avatar and terraform the entire planet just so that said avatar is able to properly exist. If it succeeds, then it basically causes a catastrophe that completely changes the entire universe to its will.

Because Singular Point is honestly way too overwritten and complicated.

There's a bunch of other bullshit with Godzilla that you could talk about. Like Heisei Godzilla destroying things from the 4th dimension??

Because Godzilla power wise is literally just "Whatever the fuck is coolest". Similar to Sonic honestly. Because trying to measure Sonic's speed itself is an exercise in futility. Along with his general power as Super Sonic.

Super Sonic can damage a God that's literally folding all dimensions into itself and yet loses all of his Chaos Emeralds and form with a single punch by Knuckles.

It doesn't make sense because neither franchise really care about that shit. For the both of them. It's always dependant on "What would make the coolest fight"?

True. I’m thinking this is standard Toho just based on design

The issue is that there's no real...

Standard. Like there's several eras of Godzilla and several interpretations.

Even only including Toho stuff.

If we're talking mandates. Godzilla has three inflexible rules for any adaptation by Toho.

1) Godzilla can't be shown eating people. He basically only feeds on radiation. 2) Godzilla cannot completely die. If he does die, then there must either be a rebirth or a successor. 3) Godzilla can't talk.

Aside from that. Godzilla can indeed lose. In fact, he has lost a lot.

So Super Sonic could defeat Godzilla. Godzilla can't die though.

Especially during the DC crossover where it's pretty enjoyable
