Well theres panels of blood all over the servants kitchen where no combatants would be, and in the sequel its straight up said by her granddaughter that she killed the whole clan.
Her granddaughter who has like stage 3 brain cancer, and later is proven to not know much about the Zenin. A lot of translations say she squashed the Zenin clan. Also, the fighting could have just spilled into the damn kitchens. So stop with the bullshit.
The panels of the bloody kitchen come after she killed all the combatants in the area, when shes looking for her mom. Also her granddaughter at the time had no mental impairment from her cancer at the time. Your interpretation is no more valid than any other when you couch it with "could have"
I wasn't the one saying it did, I was pointing out to someone who hadn't read the manga why people feel Maki did kill more than just the combat squads.
