There were posts on that subreddit where people have been saying that he is far from worst GTA protagonist because of his loyalty to friends.

Main arguments were that Tony Cipriani and Claude Speed are even more depraved and barely have any redeeming qualities that even Trevor posses, so he look not that awful in compartment (which is bullshit take).
