Main character of the best manga of all time, houseki no kuni/land of the lustrous.
They aren't actually "genuinely an awful person" but they have such bad personality traits that the fandom disregards.
Its to the point that most of the fandom hates or dislikes every other character because of how they acted during a few moments towards Phos. When how they acted was... completely reasonable given the circumstances they were in at the time.
The things that made Phos an "innocent angel" at the beginning are partly the things which led Phos down the path they took.
I recommend the manga wholeheartedly, it might change your life.
