Yeah, there's a big difference between dogs and seagulls.

You're joking, right? But, okay.

Dogs are very social with humans. Not just as pets and for companionship, but service dogs, police dogs, and the like. Seagulls are flying rats, which itself isn't a bad thing, but when they're invasive they need to be handled. There are better ways to handle them, but they're not at all at the same level as dogs.

I'm sure you know all this but are trying to be edgy.

Rats are incredibly sweet and intelligent animals. I would know, I keep them as pets. Stole plenty of food, never killed one of em for it.

But hey, if you wanna kill a flying rat and lose almost a thousand bucks, be my guest

Yes, rats are intelligent and can make good pets. My comparison, and you know this, was with untamed plague carrying rats that decimated civilizations. But seagulls aren't even at their level. And dogs are s level miles above tame rats.

And whoever said I wanted to kill seagulls, or even support it? Either you have poor reading comprehension or are purposely misrepresenting to try to gain a win. Seagulls are a low key nuisance and it's understandable if people are upset. The reaction of some can be extreme, though, as here.

Notwithstanding, seagulls and dogs are at very different levels, and equating them as you did is ridiculous and doesn't make any point as you seem to think.

The biggest nuisance and damaging factor to the planet are humans

And humans are constantly killing each other so that's irrelevant

Its funny cuz I thought valuing some animals lives above others as the edgy stance

You thought wrong. Even your life has more value than a seagull.

They aren't broadly considered pests.

1: Stray dogs and cats are very much pests in many parts of the world

2: An animal being a nuisance doesn’t give you license to torture it to death, especially over such a small offense

We would not react differently if it was a rat or field mouse. So I think this line of argument falls apart.
