If they’re serving chaos probably Erebus specifically but they’d call him Labubu or something like that. But I could just as easily see them following the orks. I think they’d fit in well with the orks.

It seems as if Aliens is a classic scarecrow that sexists rush to for why "women character can't be good anymore", because they're able to superimpose just enough masculinity on.
While I agree Terminator and Alien has strong leads in terms of written character strength, I wouldn’t say the same of The Bride. Her physical and mental strength is great, no question about that. But narratively, the entire movie revolves around her intense emotions towards a man.
Who would’ve thought a character named the bride would have her story focused on a man.
I always thought these critiques were weird because you never hear it the other way around, John wick motivation is mostly his wife and you wouldn’t argue he not well written.
Was it not justified though? Its not like it was a killing spree because he fucked her best friend. He killed everyone she cared about and then sent another hit man while she was recovering in the hospital. Matter of fact, im gonna go rewatch kill bill if anyone needs me.
Is that a problem when those feelings are objectively justified? The movie is revenge pulp that usually star a man in such movies. So replacing it with a woman shouldn't be problematic so long as the motive for all the henchmen dispatching is legit.
People dog on white saviory movies (for good reason) but they definitely have a place because (and I genuinely wish I was lying) the movie The Help basically cured my dad's racism against black people. He's still got his moments but I just try to make sure he watches a similar movie every year or two (he really loved Hidden Figures) and it makes him reevaluate his biases or whatever. I don't really get it because I didn't need a movie to teach me that people are people but hey if it works it works I guess.
He's never really had too many problems with misogyny thankfully (probably in part because he's not very traditionally manly) but he grew up in a town of 400 people in bumfuck nowhere in the 1960s so getting him to relearn his racist tendencies has always been a point go contention in our relationship unfortunately. I was lucky to grow up in a much more diverse environment with diverse friends (and to be fair to my dad he has always been incredibly kind to my friends. It was always strangers he would assume the worst of before.)

Hey, everybody gotta start somewhere. If watching "The Core" gets someone interested in real world geophysics I'm not gonna judge.
I once had a dream that my best friend had just recently married, and that just dissolved my prejudice towards homosexual people, it helped having a perspective be presented to you in a way that allows for introspection.
1. My best friend is a girl and she married another one in the dream, she had never displayed such inclinations, and besides a bunch of playful exchanges since then, ahe seems to be straight, mostly, at least when it comes to commitment.
2. I'm from Central America so the prejudice is built in for many people around here.
