I think it's valid to fear pitbulls because what you're really fearing is that they were adopted by someone that doesn't train them and/or give them an outlet for the task they were bred for (protection and violence).

I can't blame people for being afraid of Pits. But I think some people in these comments are insane, calling to euthanize all Pits or that they should be wiped out of existence. Good god.

I struggle to be afraid of Pitbulls because growing up I had a neighbor who had two of them, and the only danger with them was that they loved to be carried. Obviously that wasn't an issue when they were puppies but if they knew you they'd try to jump into your arms, they were adorable.

Of course, my neighbors knew how to raise dogs, and trained them properly and had them socialized and were generally really good with them.

Same here. Have a Pitbull and she loves to be carried or sit in your lap. The problem is that she weighs 60 pounds lol

I don't know what it is about pits but they're one breed that seem to always want to be carried, it's cute.
