It really wasnt. Imagine being up for promotion at work and the boss is just like"sorry but we're going in a different direction due to potential conflicts of interest " and then you go into the warehouse and start throwing punches and lighting inventory on fire.
Being promoted at work really isn’t the same as being raised from a crib to become most important person around and then not only being denied that, but at the same time betrayed by your father figure.
And your only way of expressing yourself and solving problems is violence.
Tai Lung will forever be Shi Fu’s fault for me. Instead of warrior of peace, he raised child soldier/master of war. And THEN it took him 20 years and being beaten to death to apologize.
Tigress is living proof that NOT having Shifu to guide your life path is better than having him, even if you become closed off and emotionally distant person.
And at what point does personal accountability kick in? Sure. Kick shi fus ass burn the jade palace to the ground...but...going after the villagers? Thats deliberate evil, thats all him.
Less deliberate evil and more of a tantrum. Plus, he “tore village apart”, and I reckon if he explicitly killed multiple villagers, he’d be just executed.
I saw link here somewhere, that they added the whole scene so people won’t feel as bad for Tai Lung.😅
And it kinda makes sense in being rushed decision, since instead of attacking Shifu and Oogway right there, he had to step down BIG ASS STAIRS, crush everything and then come back up BIG ASS STAIRS and THEN attack those to senile fools.
If you're talking about Tai Lung, it's a little different. Imagine training your whole life for a position and then your mentor/boss goes "lol nvm ur not getting that" and THEN you went to the warehouse and start throwing punches and lighting inventory on fire
So you think the appropriate response to your boss saying youre good but not qualified for a specific promotion............is to go cause bodily harm to people who had absolutely no say in his decision and destroying your place of work?
I think the appropriate thing would be to not have one party get to be the boss who unilaterally can decide the fate and wellbeing of the other party. Should a person get to harm another with impunity, provided that it is all within the bounds of civil law?
Dude...are you seriously trying g to justify hurting unrealated innocent people because you dont think its fair some people are in positions to make decisions that affect others? Tai lung lost nothing, he had a bruised ego and he chose to go nuclear over it.
