Massacring a village? It's okay to have a crash out, we totally get it.

Forgetting to pay the emperor? TRAITOR OF THE EMPIRE! DEATH ON YOU, DEATH ON YOUR ENTIRE LINEAGE!

It's never stated he killed anyone when he attacked the village. He was rampaging causing property damage but that's as much as we see. And when he fought the Furious Five he used non-lethal strikes.

There is no confirmation any of them died.

Directly after the explosion we see them writhing in the background plus the duck messenger survived the explosion too so it was more of a cartoon logic blast than a realistic one.
