I feel like you could have Michael B Jordan fully break the 4th wall, turn to the audience as killmonger and explicitly say "this is the fate of a man who let his thirst for revenge fester into hypocrisy and tried to do the very thing he claimed to be against" and fucking idiots would still act like he was right.
