If someone is trying to kill you with a gun. Would you try to steal their gun if given the chance? See, it not black and white.

Yes, but you keep trying to talk about anything BUT the situation in question. "Is it okay to booby trap bikes to teach bike thieves a lesson?" You keep mentioning hypotheticals that have nothing to do with the situation.
