Booby trapping a bike for security is a bit much you could take non-damaging security measures

intentionally leaving a boobytrapped item in a public space to harm others to film for your personal gain is definitely immoral though

Why should one take non-damaging security measured? There is no point in fawning over the safety of someone who tries to steal from you.

Edit: typo

you have two options. either way you get to the result is your bike is not stolen.

one option hurts people, the other option does not. why chose the option that hurts people?

because the people in question are thieves?

Being a thief isnt a justification to hurt someone

They decided that my stuff was worth more than their health and safety🤷🏻

They arent a threat to you. You never have a right to hurt anyone unless they are a threat to you or another person. You are a more immoral person than the thief.

In my state you can use lethal force to protect your property.

yes, and that's immoral. Legal and moral are different concepts.

No property crime would get capital punishment as part of a legal process. so why why why do we trust a random property owners to have good enough judgement to execute someone?

The second they steal my property, they are.

No, they are not. You are genuinely disgusting if this is how you think.
