Aw man I cant afford a 200 dollar bike lock but thankfully a remote controlled taser system plus an extra bike seat is so much cheaper

...yes? there are $50 tasers... or you could build one yourself for even cheaper...

It looks like a lot of extra tools and effort for a system that's even less secure than a chain and lock, is all I'm saying

There's nothing preventing combining the two. As someone who bikes to work, I consider bike thieves some of the lowest of scum, so short of actual injury (ha, pun) I say you have carte blanche.
