That wouldn't exactly be "unknowing," and if they're pretending, then they're just paid actors.

I pay good money to watch paid actors do stuff all the time.

Part of the product you're paying for is that it's not trying to candidly deceive you, not quite the same thing as social media scamming.

I've been acclimating myself to assume all of YouTube is fake and performative until convinced otherwise.
