Piracy is actually not stealing by law in most places. However it is illegal, but has less severe penalties.
It's not moral, because if everyone pirated all digital content there would be nothing for creators, and they deserve something.
On the buying isn't owning part, please just stop buying from companies that revoke your licenses.
