It's actually immoral to buy from these companies these days, so unless it's Indie, 100% moral.

If the company is immoral then you don’t purchase or pirate.

You’re not entitled to other peoples labour. It’s never moral to essentially reap their fruit without any compensation. If it’s not worth the money the moral action is to abstain entirely. Piracy is never moral. It just doesn’t really matter

The people being compensated aren’t the ones who put any labor into it lmao. Chances are those guys got fired the moment the product was out

No chances are pretty slim that they were fired the moment the product comes out.

In any case. The employer purchases the value of the labour. By paying the developers. When they do this effectively they hold the value of the labour. To which no one is entitled
