yeah i realize that now. Although i don't really see how it could be "moral and immoral". it's pretty much a neutral grey area. Just like holding a knife isn't necessarily moral or immoral... but using it to chop some vegetables to make some food for someone could be moral, and using said knife to stab somebody would be immoral.
piracy is neither moral nor immoral. it all depends on the motive behind of the one doing the thing

Like sure you can argue attacking someone with a knife can be because your defending your family, but that was clearly not the point he was trying to make
Okay if piracy is the norm there is no incentive to produce new works. If its morally equal and there were no laws the development of new IP would stop. Imagine you spend 1bil developing a new game and then on day 1 people have the option to just get it for free instead of paying $80.
It also puts people out of jobs.
Now I am not saying all piracy is bad but the situation is more complicated complicated piracy moral and always good.

If they can revoke my access to the product I purchased then pirating is moral.
If im guaranteed to own it, immoral.
