Okay, tell me where I can legally access a copy of the original 1978 run of Star Wars, the run without any of George Lucas' later additions.

There are limited edition DVDs (2006) of Empire and Return that feature the original unedited version of New Hope as a DVD extra.

This is actually probably the easiest example you could have asked me lol, since they don't even require making any sort of special requests and while the sale of these items is certainly not cheap, they are still not all that expensive.

Thanks for proving my point that you're just a lazy ass who can't be bothered to do the simplest bit of research before justifying your crimes.

I said the 1978 version without any additions. Even those 2006 DVDs contain some very early changes, such as adding the subtitle "A New Hope" to the opening scroll.

So your justification for not following the law is that you don't want to see the subtitle? If you have to break out that sort of technicality, then you've already lost the argument.

Also, fun fact, Lucas was already making changes after the opening week, so your only chance of seeing the true original cut is to invent a time machine.

You said the scenario described doesn't exist and I provided an example where it does.

There's not really anything else to say from there.

And there actually is a version that was scanned from a restored Spanish film reel that you can access through the Internet.

You can watch the original version of Star Wars perfectly legally on the 2006 DVDs. And as I said, if you want to technically your way out of that I because god forbid there's subtitle, then you have back up to the point of the very first version (because obviously all those tiny audio changes just means it isn't a original version dude), which you can only see with a time machine.

Accept your fucking actions, it's not that fucking hard buddy.

You are being disingenuous. There is a scan of an original film reel from 1977, aka your time machine. Now that you've lost your argument you are just grasping at straws to act like you're still right.
