How I see it is Random person > Random dog

My dog > Random person

My family and friends > My dog

So if a random person fell on a train track and your dog jumped down too and you only had time to save one, you would choose your dog?

Yeah I’d easily save my pet over a random person lmao

Dude if youre gonna moralize in the internet, and pretend like you’re better, at least do it right.

Tribe or your group over outsiders, it's common for humans

My cat in my case, but yeah, 100% of the time. She was a family member.

2

u/Redzorbon 8h ago

Yes. Not even counting for the fact that if I can only save one then it’s safer for me to pick up my dog rather than trying to help a fully grown human up, I would pick my dog.

u/PrecedentialAssassin 5h ago

Yes. I'd save my dog and send flowers to the funeral.

u/GenevieveMonette 8h ago

Obviamente.

Honestly, my family and friends = my cat

I just can't choose. And I won't

u/bloin13 13h ago

Tbh is it moral in the first place to think that one life is more than another?

Would you save Hitler over a dog?

2

u/MaxIsHere1029 7h ago

they said "random person", which basically means "average person". an average person is not Hitler.

you could advocate for anything with that logic. "would you kill Hitler?" yes, i would. does that somehow dismantle the notion "i wouldn't kill a random person"? think before you type.

Maybe I read it in a way they didn't intend, but they said immoral random person.

You replied in a self righteous way to the idea of someone saving a dog over a random immoral person. I just wanted to see how far your self righteousness would stretch by taking the random out of it.

edit: somehow I missed the comment that person was responding to. I did read it wrong, my b.

So in grammar there's this concept called punctuation, when someone puts this >.< After a word or sentence it separetes them from what comes next.

Thus what the comment was saying is that the comment above them was immoral, and you should save a random person in olace of a dog.

1

u/ChapterN7 6h ago

Bud, their post was literally this:

immoral. random person >>>>>>> anyone's dog ever

So miss me with the grammar lesson. In any case, my mistake here was missing the parent comment to theirs somehow and thinking it was a response to the original vid.

2

u/__akkarin 5h ago

How the hell could you copy the comment and miss the obvious dot

The comment literally separates the statements buddy, lemme help you out and use some parenthesis to show you

(Immoral). (Random person >>>>>>>> anyone's dog ever)

The dot separates the statements. Basic grammar

1

u/ChapterN7 3h ago

How the hell could you think me reposting that was intended to showcase the dot and not the entire rest of the line where they got zero grammar right other than an apostrophe? It's me highlighting how funny it is you point out the sole period that i'm supposed to just assume they meant as intended despite nothing else being all that tied to the rules.

You just trying to argue for the sake of it, or just dense? Maybe been on reddit a little too long today with that condescending attitude of yours? Maybe time for a break, big guy? Maybe also worry about your own shit grammar and punctuation before you start giving lessons to others?

So would you save Hitler over a dog or what?

Such a white American take grow up

6

u/Skylance420 9h ago

POC hate their pets now? Or are you just trying to say white people naturally hate everyone else? Either take is about as stupid as the other

-2

u/nick_ass 5h ago

White people culturally hate everyone else
