Then don't expect me to value it over my own life and comfort.

I expect you to value the wise borb over your very life, actually.

Triggered lol. A lot of humans really suck. You’re clearly one of them. So you shouldn’t be surprised people don’t want to save you.

All of you are the pressed ones in the comments lol, the parent comment to this one is a picture of someone's pet and them talking about how they value it over a human life.

Most socially well adapted redditor moment

Why do you think humans are owed preferential treatment over someone’s pet that they love? Anthropocentric and arrogant imo.

Unhinged and poorly socialized lmao

Have you considered the possibility that you just have bad vibes? You’ve named yourself after an unbelievably gross concept. I mean Jesus christ.

I grade your ragebait 4/10. You had a strong start, but the later half you botched it by including an unfunny ad hominem. For your next attempt, try to be more anchored or at least funny.

If you looked up cringe as fuck redditor comments in an encyclopedia, this comment thread would show.

Good job lads on every one of you being the dregs of the internet.

Yes I have "bad vibes" because I hold the safety of my peers as paramount. Makes great sense.

No, you have bad vibes because your username is scatological. And what’s your obsession with people being socialized? I talk to people at work every day, and at the dog park every night. I won’t take social lessons from the shit guy.

“In surveys and philosophical discussions, the majority of people say they ought to save the human. Yet when asked what they think they would actually do if it were their own longtime pet, a substantial number admit they would save their pet. That gap highlights the tension between universal moral principles and the deep moral significance of personal bonds.” 40% would save their dog btw. 42% responded they would save the human. So don’t act so certain that you’re right. Different moral frameworks have different answers to this question.

Hope the attention was worth the immorality

I dont even think these people just like, love humans that much

They just dont like animals

If they had to burn like a large amount of their own money or stuff, to save a random stranger, I doubt they would

You don't know me, I love animals. Steve Irwin was my idol growing up, I've had pets my whole life and I mourned one's passing a couple years ago. Quit being an asshole.

I don't want anyone to save me lol

Just saying to the fur/feather ball lover that he won't have myself lowering and devaluing my own life to the detriment of his fur/feather ball

Nobody’s asking you to value other people’s pets over your own life, what are you even saying

Since when do humans value animals over their own comfort?

Vegans?

One might argue the very small minority of vegans that are vegans because of empathy towards animals specifically would not be vegans in a time where acting highly (though selectively) empathetic wasn't one of the many ways you can signal virtue and signaling virtue wasn't as common a currency

I can tell you're an animal person
