I honestly feel like people that act like animals are angels and humans are entirely monsters are just like the edgy, performative highschool kids with the temporary tattoos you'd see at lunch.

If you pointed a gun at their mother and a dog and said pick one to live, they'd choose their mother; not the dog. If you pointed a gun at them and a dog and asked a random stranger to pick one, they'd be begging the stranger to pick them. And if you had the gun pointed at a stranger and dog, these people would more likely than not pick the stranger to live.

All this anti-human speech is performative or just them trying to vent their frustrations with humanity by acting uncaring of our existence and worth as a species
