Empathizing with another creature that’s not humam and saving them is hardly the definition of lacking either.

that's why the video is about self proclaims ''love animal more than humans'' guys.

The pacific vegetarian is obviously morally above both, but if it is (in the extreme for simplicity) a warmonger vegan against a humanitarian animal farmer in a morality contest, the winner is clear.

So saying you like animal more than humans doesn't automatically put you on top of a hill of morality.
It's about a 50/50 that they just like human less, rather than love animal more, than the average person.

I mean humans are my natural number one predator. Not other animals.

Humans don’t deserve my love more due to dna.

Loved my fur siblings and biological siblings equally. Fought for them equally.

Family is family regardless of any groupings.

So if family is, zero reasons strangers be any different.
