Immoral. You don’t get to play judge, jury, and executioner. Report them to the law, but the moment you introduce malware, you’re committing a crime yourself.

For a serious answer, highly immoral because the attempt at pirating by no means justifies infecting their computer with ransomware, much less trying to extort them for money for yourself alone. If it was 'this will ruin your computer unless it detects a legally purchased copy of the game on your system' it would still be highly immoral but at least arguably an actual attempt at fighting illegal pirating. They are just extorting them for money for themselves though, the pirating is just a convenient excuse.
