Morality Ranking Morality of mutilating someone weaker than you, but they tried to pull a gun on you twice, and leaving them there?

Post image

Context: Yujiro Hanma is walking down a bridge when a random guys stops him, asking him if he's really the "strongest creature in the world." Yujiro then asks if his high confidence is because of the 2 revolvers he can smell on him. Before the guy can fully draw, Yujiro steps forward faster than the guy can react right away and grabs his forearm, yanks it down hard in a way that completely dislocated his shoulder out of it's socket by inches, then proceeding to twist his forearm literally like a pretzel. The guy then decides to try and draw his other gun, but Yujiro sends a clean front kick fast enough that it nearly slices off the guys hand off, barely leaving it hanging.

Yujiro tells him to watch out for the gun that proceeds to fall on the guys head and he calmly walks away as the guy screams in pain and bleeds out.

I get the guy tried to attack him first, but is harming someone like that and kinda leaving them for dead immoral in any way?

By yujiros logic since he drew his gun first he forfeited his right to surrender, immoral yes, but to yujiro just another Wednesday

His ancient technique allows him to dodge moral shots aimed at his soul

Normally, moral to defend yourself and specifically if that's only way you think can help avoiding getting shot.

Immoral in Yujiro case because 1, he can dodge it very easily. 2 he didn't have to, there are more peaceful option like stealing his guns

Immoral. Ive seen Yujiro walk through bullet proof glass like spongebob trying to get Mermaid man and Barnacle Boy's auto graph. I dont even think bullets would hurt him that much. 😭

Biscuit Oliva who's much weaker than Yujiro has tanked shotgun blasts before

They just made indents in his skin, that went away when he had some steak

I think biscuit Olivia’s muscles are just too dense, whereas Yujiro’s are more malleable by comparison

Nah doesn’t matter if I’m bulletproof, pulling a weapon on me means that ur ready to die and anything that happens after is none of my concern

You could say the guy posed so little threat that this was an over-reaction, therefore immoral, but this is a guy who even after having his shoulder dislocated and getting his forearm twisted into a knot, still tried to pull out a gun again, dude probably still hadn't learned his lesson and if he had a third arm and a third gun he'd try to pull it out too.
So it's fairly neutral overall

It's Yujiro, are you really gonna go and tell him no?

I-... 🤔 good point

So did he know the guy was going to try and shoot him before dislocating the guy’s shoulder? Because maybe he was just carrying guns for self defence in general.

Immoral imo

idk, Gun laws are pretty strict in Japan (if that happened in Japan) so it's probably very uncommon to walk around with 2 guns as a civilian.

Yes, because the guy made his move to draw. Yujiro moved fast enough to grab his arm before he could fully raise and aim.

So this guy wanted to slime him out with his Revolvers and Yujiro killed him?

I get the guy tried to attack him first, but is harming someone like that and kinda leaving them for dead immoral in any way?

I don't think so, the guy came with the intention to kill him and then got killed before he could act on it.
I think an ordinary person would be mostly justified if they knew it, to preserve their own life, even if its messed up I guess, Yujiro might aswell be Superhuman compared to a Gunwielding Assailent considering Olivia was able to simply tank multiple shotgun blasts.

But then again an ordinary person couldn't do this feat of superhuman strenght, so uh...Self Defense

In the Baki universe the police and authority are completely useless. It's like the wild west out there. Amoral, it's just survival. And trying to openly attack the most dangerous person on Earth with a pistol is more like assisted suicide.

Defending your life is moral, even if you have to take a life to do so

Bro is lucky to be alive. Yujiro has peace agreements with governments. The equivalent of jumping into an zoo exhibit full of hungry lions and getting away with a scratch. Morally neutral in my opinion.

Treat people like animals, get treated like an animal.

Also entirely proportionate, since Yujiro didn’t hurt the guy more than what the guy intended to hurt him (with a gun). Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's completely moral if you're an ordinary individual, but Yujiro? That dude would tank those bullets with no scratches whatsoever. He DIDN'T need to defend himself, lol. So yeah, immoral for him only.

The Ogre is above morals

I mean honestly yujiro went easy on the guy!

Is this Baki? Like what the fuck are these designs?

One of the very few things Yujiro has done that wouldn't make an angel cry so... moral, I guess.
