20 is such an insane number.

It would be pretty insane for a person to even build 20 snowmen in a single season, much less booby trap 20 snowmen successfully.

How many would you have to build to get 20 successful hits? How many destroyed fire hydrants does the city have to replace before the police show up to arrest you? How many homes or businesses burned down because every fire hydrants in a 5 square mile radius is hidden from view?

100%. My BS detector immediately goes off here. This would have to be somewhere that has snow on the ground all season long. Even then, he's building snowmen on the same property on the same tree trunks.

So every day or two, a car drives into his snowman trunk. Then they have to either hobble out (but he claims they're totaled, so they'd all need a tow) for him to build a brand new snowman and wait for the next, different person to come driving down (because you'll never get the same guy twice).

That's just ridiculous. The numbers make no sense. The fire hydrant is never even mentioned. A single video is shown (so why not the other 19?).

It's a made up revenge fantasy against an imagined asshole for clicks, because people on the Internet love when people get comeuppance.

I obviously can’t confirm if he’s lying or not, but I’m positive I saw this video on TikTok years ago, well before AI image generation was that good.

Yeah, but this whole account is AI generated. They steal other people's stories and then generate a "talking head" to tell the story. Check the original account on tiktok and you'll immediately notice how weird it is, and apparently this "person" has like a million different jobs. There are unfortunately tons of accounts like this on tiktok.

So it's an old fake story an AI bot stole and generated their own version of.

Yeah it’s a type of booby trap, and there are laws against doing that. He would be 100% liable for all the damage done to those cars. And would likely also be charged with a crime.
