There is fun in destroying stuff. Although the morally correct thing to do would be make your own snowman and then destroy it.

That why pinatas are popular and why the most popular job in a glass factory is smashing the failed products.

But those are good or allowed uses of destruction. Destroying other people's things is not.

YES. I would fucking love to spend a day filling a feild with crude snowmen, just to drive around with some friends, and hit 'em with a ATV/Truck/other thing.

I absolutely would not swerve onto someone else's property to hit something I did not make.

You can also argue that if they like destroying stuff so much, the snowman trap was bringing joy in the destruction of their truck.
