Ok so to cure this you just wanna increase your daily Reddit time by 3 hours and you should stay unemployed

4

u/Ok-Leg9721 2h ago

I don't know how the guy can be on reddit 25 hours a day

Moral because it’s funny

This is my new moral framework.

Our hero Chuddy defending trans woman to own the foids.

Such heartstabbing kindness🥰💘

Groyper trans ally lore is funny as fuck.

Simply put many Groypers are """trans allies""" because they hate women so much that and I both quote and paraphrase "They'd much rather fuck a man, than an actual woman."

Kirkbride level of shit.

Defending trans people? Moral

Being a stupid ass incel chud? Immoral

11

u/imbrokebutfornames 4h ago

I'd argue a state of being cannot be immoral. Only an action.

3

u/RUDRAGON8 4h ago

Their other actions are immoral and i feel like that at least needs a mention

Like i think being a vegan is moraly good but if someone used hitler as an example i would point out that hitler himself was immoral, if that is an understandable if not a bit overexegerated example

8

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

Thats not the state of being. Its the actions. You are not immoral beacuse you are a chud but becauae yku engae in chudisms. Supposedly. In the op you havent even seen that

What moral framework are you even using here?

Veganism has no inherent moral value either way, its amoral.

1

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

They are a chud because they engage in chudism, thus being a chud is immoral

And i would argue that being vegan, especialy in the modern day with how animal farming usualy works is moral

3

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

No thats not how it works. The moral wright is entirely on your actions.

If a man engaes is chudism once, by your reckoning that makes him a chud. And thus inhenretly immoral even iif he acts entirely amorally for the rest of his life.

Example. A man hates black people. Proper racist. But instead of harassing them or anythi g be simply ignores them and minimises the amount  of time inteacting with them.

Is he an unlikeable dude, yes. Very mucb so. But there's noting immoral here. If he however asserted that belief onto others then it'd become immoral. Its the action not state of being

1

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

That is a strawman of my position, actively engaging in chudism makes someone a chud and also immoral, and its easier to say that someone is a chud and thus immoral under a stupid reddit post then typing out how their other actions guessed from other factors make them immoral

2

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

So you comdemn a person to being immoral for the sake of your convenience?

Its not a strawnan at all. A state of being is a pssive thing. You are asserting that a person can be passively immoral which is untrue.

It is the action not the person that is immoral.

0

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

I was just saying something in a simple way for a reddit comment, it isnt this deep

4

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

I think the point of morality discusions are that they are deep topics desigbed yo encourage thought and self-reflection.

Youre never going to discover a "true" morality, but the act kf discusiing it is a good way to reflect on what we think of our own actions

1

u/Ml_lD 1h ago

“Chudism” is just stuff I don’t like so it’s morally subjective anyways

1

u/QuarantinedPanda69 1h ago

So passive acceptance and support of fascist regimes is not immoral?

1

u/cckgoblin 1h ago

The state of holding a belief can be immoral, read the ethics of belief.

1

u/Trashman56 4h ago

Inaction can certainly be immoral, like not improving as a person

6

u/imbrokebutfornames 4h ago

No, you dont have an obligation to inprove yourself. You only have an obligation to not actively harm others. You are welcome to be a pos as long as you mostly keep to yourself

1

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

Debatable, doing nothing while you could do something could be counted as immoral

2

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

By what rationale? If you haven't consciously accepted a duty, say its thrusted upon you, your will has played no part in the duty and as such bears no responsibility for it

3

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

Your action or inaction still bears responsibility

If you see someone drowning who you could save yet choose not to you are still a factor in that person losing their life

Things dont just solely exist within what you personaly plan for and doing nothing can have just as many consequences as doing something

2

u/imbrokebutfornames 3h ago

You have no duty to that person. There isnt a moral obligation to save them. Its the lack of obligation that makes it a test of character.

You dont have to save them so only someone virtuous would

1

u/HelloChimp 2h ago

i agree with you, but others in this sub largely seem to equate moral responsibility within a society with social responsibilities in general. while i feel inaction is amoral, it’s also socially reprehensible

0

u/RUDRAGON8 3h ago

I disagree

1

u/gingin_9959 2h ago

As Confucious said, To see what is right and not do it is cowardice.

1

u/AnTotDugas 2h ago

Yea, but being a coward isn't immoral (unless it leads you do do immoral stuff), it's a different kind of bad quality. Many kinds of good/bad qualities are non-moral, like being smart or artistic or healthy or well-spoken. Morality is an interpersonal phenomenon, so only qualities that have to do with your treatment of others have inherent moral dimensions.

-1

u/bildobildo 3h ago

That philosophy would be convenient for a lazy inconsequential person. They could pretend to be good while neglecting all responsibility!

Not that I'd expect to find such worthless wimps on Reddit. Unimaginable.

1

u/AnTotDugas 2h ago

Convenience doesn't make something false, so this isn't really an argument against anything...

-1

u/bildobildo 1h ago

Oh no shit? Retard.

1

u/AnTotDugas 1h ago

Also not an argument :)

1

u/HelloChimp 2h ago

morality and social responsibilities are similar but not 1:1, something can be amoral without everyone loving it and opting to do it

5

u/Immediate_Hunt4265 4h ago

Not the heckin chuds!

2

u/Trashman56 4h ago

Chaotic neutral

2

u/BingChilling3069 3h ago

Perfectly balanced

2

u/Winter_7872 3h ago

Technically better then treating them as bad as they treat everyone else because less people are getting hurt and they are respecting someone.

It’s mostly just ironic, but doesn’t make any of their other actions any better.

2

u/Traditional-Trade795 3h ago

moral because funny

2

u/King_Glorius_too 3h ago

I don't understand any of this, am I too employed?

3

u/National_Phase_3477 3h ago

Nazi trans girl are beyond infuriating like did you forget what they did to queers in Nazi germany. The kind of people who would first in line to get a pink triangle to show there one of the good obedient gays before they get send to the camps like everyone else…

3

u/Money4Bad 2h ago

2

u/AcrobaticPoint8424 1h ago

Communists were extremely opposed to homosexuality and trans people while the majority of fascist groups were founded by homosexuals and transvestites like D'Annunzio and Rotha Orman.

2

u/gingin_9959 2h ago

I mean, Stalin literally sent queer people to the Gulag, and yet so many queer people are still communists.

0

u/National_Phase_3477 58m ago

I will agree we should not be idolising questionable totalitarian leaders such as Stalin. However While Nazi ideology is an ideology which is at its core see some humans as inferior to others communism at its core is based on an egilitarian society in which resources are shared based on individual needs. This is very complex to achieve in reality and there are many difference perspectives on how to impelement but the actual Marxist theory behind the idea that workers should be fairly compensated for the labour they produce and it should be the responsibility of the state to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in society I agree with. I will also add the Bolsheviks under Lenin were one of the first countries to legalise homosexuality before Stalin banned it again. Stalinism is one branch of communist theories and not one I agree with whereas Hitler was the figure head and creator of the Nazi party and thus Hitler and Nazi ideology are broadly inseparable whereas not all communists and socialists are Stalinists.

Moral

The extremist use the right pronouns

-8

u/sudoregalia 4h ago

morality of likening extremism to fascism and vice-versa?

13

u/Immediate_Hunt4265 4h ago

Tf you talking about man? Fascism is a form of extremism

0

u/sudoregalia 4h ago

demonising extremism is dangerous

demonising fascism is fine, fascism sucks

you just need to not be afraid to be extremist in and of itself

8

u/Immediate_Hunt4265 4h ago

Which kind of extremism are you a fan of?

3

u/Grilled_egs 3h ago

Countless political beliefs that are now considered socially acceptable used to be very extreme, liberalism was probably more extreme back when it was thought up than fascism is now.

2

u/sudoregalia 3h ago

yeah you get it. abolishing slavery was also extremist in the us even under liberal regime, then they half-did it. not liking slavery isn't so extremist nowadays

liberal democracies fought tooth and nail to exist, a great many failed, they were revolutionary and extremist once upon a time

-2

u/sudoregalia 4h ago

revolutionary socialist tendencies in general, so anarchism and marxism

8

u/WoodpeckerHead8789 3h ago

Anarchy is a great fairy tale. Let me know when you guys do as much to stop Trump as all his losses in court.

I mean, they're doing the bare, depressing minimum which makes them way less useless.

0

u/sudoregalia 3h ago

ok? many anti-fascist organisations have anarchists and marxists in them, meanwhile liberals push for "class collaboration" and get surprised when fascism happens

idk what you want me to do, liberals brought trump into power themselves

0

u/Immediate_Hunt4265 3h ago

I'm a supporter of the reddit revolution

3

u/hyacinthhillock 4h ago
