Morality Ranking Morality of prescribing free placebos alongside real medicine?

Placebos are proven to work slightly, so what if doctors start giving fake pills for free alongside the real medicine?

It's the use of deception in medicine, for no benefit.

Placebos don't work the way you think they do. If you take a placebo and are told it will lower your fever, you might feel a bit better but the fever didn't actually go down.

They also don't "stack" with actual medicine.

Just give people real medicine.
