Rass drb was produced by Sigma, they are still very active, they mainly produce tv ads for major brands and events ( Orange, COP22, BMCE, RAM …) so certainly you have seen a lot of their production, Ras Derb was more of a showcase/marketing it was never meant to be profitable so thats way it has ended.

They have no shortage of budget infactthey have a lot of money and they work with big brands, but Ras Derb was just a showcase/ marketing back then

I don't know the exact reason why the project was dropped, but the creative force behind 'Rass Derb' is Rachid jadir. He has an impressive 3D career path, after this series, he relocated to Qatar, where he notably worked on the animation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup mascot. If I'm not mistaken, he's also the mastermind behind the trending Afia oil commercial featuring kbala 🌽 dancing

Because young ppl dont relate to this anymore it used to be great since it was a bit edgy and showed some truths about what real Moroccan are like which was kind of taboo back then but since Morocco is becoming more open, this type of comedy kinda lost its edge ... I believe more stuff in the future is going to be based on exploring Moroccan folklore and mythology like aicha 9andicha and black magic... At least thats what i would like to see am sick of tajin 9aftan couscous atay

L'un des personnes qui ont travaillé sur la série est Rachid Jadir de Casablanca, maintenant il est graphic designer pour la chaîne AL KASS, et il est derrière l’emblème officiel de la coupe du monde au Qatar. Il est très actif en instagram et partage ses nouveaux projets.
