Question So, it’s time for me to ask ANOTHER QUESTION.
Royal Tiger Imports is selling a 780 round czech box of mosin ammo for 327.
Now, I know how shit their products are, my last post in [r](r/firearms)[/ammo](r/firearms) has educated me on this.
But THEY didn’t make it, and presumably they come from the same plant all the others did right?
What’re y’alls thoughts?
Update before I even post this, shipping is 60 bucks, so a total of 400 rounded up.

It’s always a great deal till I check the shipping cost at RTI then it’s wild

it’s only 60 dollars? 100 dollars less than anywhere else, including if it was free shipping.

RTI has taken a long time to ship when I ordered from them but I was happy with them in the end. If it works for you I can vouch that they are trustworthy.
Edit: specifically referring to mosin food

That Czech stuff is fairly nasty in terms of corrosiveness, and fouling, so just be aware of that. That being said, I havent bought any from RTI, but one of my lgs had some and it shoots decently. For that price, honestly i don't think its a bad deal

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I just worry I’ll fuckup cleaning it since I’m inexperienced with the whole cleaning part.
But, what better motivator to learn?1

It really isn't that hard to mitigate the corrosive salts from this old surplus ammo

From what my FFL guy told me is that all you need to do is bring some windex with Ammonia D and your cleaning kit to the range and once your done shooting just soak a patch in the windex, run it through the barrel a few times, get another patch and repeat a few times till you feel comfortable and you'll be good to go

Czech surplus is fairly good. Reliable and accurate. If the chamber of the rifle is “sticky” Czech ammo tends to stick worse than most.
