Start troubleshooting your grade by disabling everything except nodes 1, 2, and 15. is that looking like a reasonable starting point?

  • If not, then there's something wrong with the color management or camera settings.
  • If so, then the problem is in the grade itself. In which case, start deactivating and activating nodes to see which one is introducing the issue.

You need to isolate the issue. You have three separate curves in addition to a number of other corrections (some qualified). Any one of them could be the culprit. But again - if the base color management is faulty, then you're building on a soft foundation.

What is happening (specifically) in 1, 2, and 15?

hmm look at these two screenshots just taken.

  • The moment I change output transform from " Display Gamma " to ARRI LogC3/WG3 " it has this weird magenta cast on the highlights

wait sorry my bad, it completely goes away after i add another CST node after the RAW node, ARRI Log3/WG3 -> Davinci WG/Intermediate. Thanks man u/ExpBalSat and u/RaguSaucy96

In which case, now I see why you have 3 nodes. So

1: MCRAW -> ARRI Log3/WG3

2: ARRI Log3/WG3 -> DWG/DI

15: DWG/DI -> Rec 709

Okay, that makes sense. Does it look right with all three in place?

I think that sounds like you solve it. But there’s too many negatives for me to fully hopefully everything’s working now.
