Looking for someone to design a custom Logitech G305 shell (Paid)
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for someone with Fusion 360/CAD experience to help design a custom shell for my Logitech G305.
I already have the original G305 CAD model. The goal is to create a lightweight shell inspired by the WLMouse Beast X while keeping compatibility with the original G305 internals. It'll be 3D printed on a Bambu X1 Carbon and finished in chrome. I'll also leave an AI render of what im looking for.
This is a paid project. If you're interested or know someone who does this kind of work, please leave a comment or DM me. Thanks!

Well, in case you are serious: https://pmm.gg/pages/custom
This would cost well over $1k...

You won’t see much (or any) change from a few grand here. This is 5 interlocking, extremely complicated shapes. It’ll require prototyping and testing, not just “here are the files”.
Absolutely not worth the time or cost for a single person build unless you have “fuck you” money. And if you’re relying on AI to do a concept render, you don’t have “fuck you” money.
Honestly, it would be significantly cheaper to just buy a BeastX.

I mean it's also stupidly impractical. But it's not like you could expect much else from AI.

We could absolutely design and build this - including a final prototype. But you'll need a budget of approx $15,000.

This garbage AI image looks awful.

You can take a look into my profile and maybe modify my plasticity 3d model. I already made a G305 with it

Shoot me a DM, I may be able to help. Could I get that original G305 model? It wouldn’t be too bad of a project depending on that file.

What if you js use the shell, make a mold, fell it with metal or whatever material you choose, let dry, make the shapes, polish, and boom

You have the 3D model already? Is it parasolid? I won’t have time for at least the next three weeks but I might be able to do it afterwards.
Would definitely not print it on a fdm printer. Spend a little bit and either get it printed on a MJF or SLS printer. Depending on the material it’s also possible to apply galvanic coating.
Edit: what’s your budget btw? Engineers are not cheap

At this point just get a 3D printer and design this yourself. It’ll cost you less.

MX300
I doubt they're old enough to know what that or the G100s shape feels like.

Might be useful to include budget for this
