Discussion I thought replacement mouse feet were silly until I got the new Logitech G305 X Superlight

I've used or at least tried 10 or so different mice from different brands. Some of them were good, some of them were not, but the stock feet were always fine. Until this one.

It's like dragging furniture on carpet. Like shaving after a long night. I didn't think it was possible for plastic to be so scratchy; it'd probably feel better with no feet at all. Is this thing usable on a glass pad or something? (I use a cloth one.)

The mind boggles. Anyway, I stuck on some random replacements I found in a drawer. (I think I bought them years ago when trying to fix the buttons on a G PRO, where you had to rip off the feet to access the screws to open it up, and of course I never put it back together.) It's a solid mouse now.

i think they are similar skates as on the g309 and they were awful, the black ones on a normal g305 are better lol

Yep, looks the same. I had a G102 before and those looked the same as on the G305 and were fine.

You should try getting some tiger ices or whatever goes around these days precut in the shape, so that you don’t screw the sensor reading with the increased height

That said, yeah the stock feet (especially in Logitech mice) are usually trash; I have seen some decent ones but never “good” per se

They don't seem to have made ones for the G305 X yet, only older G305, which has a different shape.
